Stronger Adhesion with Substrates |
Silanes when used as adhesion promoters or as PU prepolymer endcappers can increase the adhesion of any Adhesive/Sealant with the substrate to be bonded.
Figure 1 shows how Dynasylan® GLYMO improve wet adhesion of an adhesive used to bond glass and aluminium.

The resulting bonded assembly will exhibit better durability especially better resistance to the moisture that can migrate between the Adhesive/Sealant and the substrate.
