Evonik Degussa GmbH is introducing a new generation of organofunctional silane systems. These are designed to fulfill even the most demanding requirements of the adhesives and sealants industry. The new multifunctional silane systems™ fall under the name Dynasylan^® SIVO.   During the marketing of the systems, SpecialChem's internet platform was selected to be one of the key partners for the world's leading specialty chemical company and was intended to make the adhesives and sealants industry aware of this new product innovation. Dynasilan^® SIVO products allows formulators to benefit easily and readily from a set of new performance features.   Dynasylan^® SIVO multifunctional silane systems are an innovative class of substances with multiple chemical functionalities. They are a product of Evonik Degussa's application know-how and technical expertise in this field. Just a single Dynasylan^® SIVO product grade goes a long way in covering a whole set of performance features, extending the use of adhesives and sealants to a wider scope of applications.

• The Aerosil & Silanes Business Unit employs 1,900 staff worldwide at nine sites in Europe, the USA and Asia. During the financial year 2005, sales of approx. €502 million were generated.
