During the 2007 annual "Functional Fillers Conference (Charleston, United States, September 24-26, 2007), Doris Simoes from the Aerosil and Silanes team (Applied Technology Piscataway, NJ) presented Evonik Degussa’s latest developments in using organofunctional silanes for modifying surfaces of fillers.

"Max it out! – Silane Modification at its best" focused on three innovative Evonik Degussa products (Dynasylan^® 9896, Dynasylan^® 4144 and Dynasylan^® F8261) and provided the audience an insight in Evonik Degussa’s Dynasylan^® product range when it comes to rendering surfaces hydrophobic or hydrophilic under ever stricter VOC-requirements."
