"Dynasylan® 9896 - A New Hydrophobizing Agent for Fillers and Pigments"

  • Degussa's Business Line Silanes presents a new hydrophobizing agent especially for the treatment of inorganic fillers and pigments.

    Dynasylan® 9896 is a oligomeric alkoxysiloxane which contains less VOC (volatile organic compounds) compared to monomoric silanes.

    Particular in non-polar resins, Dynasylan® 9896 improves the dispersibility of fillers and pigments (e.g. TiO2) which leads to overall improved processability.
